Violetta Lozovyy MD, Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist
Dr. Lozovyy is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialist at High Risk Pregnancy Doctors in Frisco, Texas. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Lozovyy is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients at every stage of their pregnancy.
She completed her Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) residency at New York University School of Medicine and trained under the Nation’s leading Experts in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. For the past three years, she has served as a Junior Faculty Physician in the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine division actively managing Labor & Delivery at the Perinatal Center at the University of Texas in Galveston, a high-volume referral center in the region.
Recently, she has joined the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Texas serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor. Her research experience has mainly focused on fetal-maternal physiology and fetal membrane integrity regulators. She has been a principal author in a number of publications as well as involved with several nationally-registered clinical trials addressing pregnancy complications including hypertension, intrapartum hypoxia, and surgical site infection in cesarean deliveries. Her passion and future research interests remain to be an exercise in pregnancy in order to improve maternal and fetal outcomes in the most natural way possible during the pregnancy a window into the future wellbeing.
